UX Designer - Testdriven Solutions
June 2023 - Present

As the first design employee at TDS, I established and led the company’s user-centred design capability. I supported core clients across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery through to live delivery, ensuring user needs and accessibility standards informed all design decisions. I provided advisory support to internal teams to embed user-centred and accessible design across the business, its clients, and culture. I also built and led the TDS UCD community, managing a team of four designers.
 

General responsibilities and activities included:

  • End-to-end product design from discovery to live

  • Conducting accessibility audits and providing remediation guidance

March 2021 - May 2023

At Qrious, I delivered end-to-end UX design with a strong focus on interaction design, supported by a broad range of user research methodologies. I worked across discovery, research, design, and delivery, collaborating closely with development teams to implement digital products. Alongside delivery work, I mentored junior designers and established a knowledge-sharing book club to support continuous learning and team development.

General responsibilities and activities included:

  • End-to-end company analysis and research

  • Creation of product and company roadmaps

  • User research planning and execution

  • End-to-end UX and interaction design

  • Leading multi-day workshops for rapid iteration, testing, and long-term ideation

Digital & UX Designer - DXC Technology

May 2018 - March 2021

I joined DXC during my final year of university and transitioned to a full-time role shortly after. I worked across a range of projects for public and private sector clients, including MOD, NHS, Northern Powergrid, Network Rail, and Rolls-Royce Holdings. My work spanned UX and service design in high-security and regulated environments, including leading a national graduate recruitment campaign. Alongside delivery work, I supported and mentored incoming graduates, helping them transition into the organisation.

General responsibilities and activities included:

  • Planning and facilitating discovery workshops

  • UX and service design for high-security government portals

  • Design of employee-facing web and emergency applications

  • Design of user-facing applications, including stock tracking tools

  • End-to-end service design for the DXC graduate scheme

  • Creation of stakeholder-facing webpages

  • Mentoring and supporting graduate designers through internal projects
